  1. You are going to lift a heavy box.
  2. Bend your knees
  3. Don't bend your waist.
  4. Lift with your legs.
  5. Don't lift with your back.
  6. Kneel under the box.
  7. Straighten your legs to lift.
  8. Don't stand up quickly.
  9. Put heavy boxes on the shelf between knee and shoulder height.
  10. Always lift correctly.
